Private by design. We use what you share only to shape your reflection — your messages are never sold, never used to train ad profiles, and you can delete them anytime. Narrow it down

Anxious? Racing thoughts? Chest tight? You're not alone, and you don't have to sort it out first. Type one messy sentence — your voice will slow it down with you, help you take a real breath, untangle what's actually there, and leave you with one small next step so this moment feels a little lighter.

  1. 01

    Share what's on your mind

In a sentence or a paragraph, tell us what you're carrying — stress, a decision, a hard relationship, grief, burnout. No forms, no diagnosis.

  2. 02

    Meet the right voice

We match you with a voice whose focus and traditions fit your moment — or browse all of them yourself.

  3. 03

    Talk it through, feel lighter

A quiet, private conversation grounded in timeless wisdom. Reflect, reframe, and leave with a small next step.

How it works

Here's exactly what happens — and what doesn't.

You're talking to AI, not a person. We'd rather you know that up front than find out halfway through.

  1. 1

You say what's actually going on

In your own words — messy, half-formed, whatever it is. There's no intake form and no waiting list. You can start without an account.

  2. 2

    A voice reflects it back

You pick a voice, and an AI writes back a reflection drawn from that thinker's writings and tradition. It asks questions, offers a way to look at it, and suggests something small to try.

  3. 3

    You keep what's useful

Save anything worth returning to in your book. Ignore the rest. Nothing is graded, and nothing follows you around.

What this does

  • Gives you a place to think out loud at 2am
  • Offers perspective from a named tradition — Stoicism, mindfulness, and others
  • Asks questions that help you find your own next step
  • Suggests small practices you can actually do
  • Remembers what you save, so you can pick the thread back up

What this doesn't do

  • Diagnose, treat, or manage any condition
  • Give medical, psychiatric, legal, or financial advice
  • Replace a therapist, doctor, or prescriber
  • Involve a licensed clinician — no human reads your conversation
  • Handle an emergency

If things get dangerous, we stop and point you to people

If what you write suggests you might be in danger — thinking about suicide, hurting yourself, or being hurt by someone else — the conversation stops offering reflection. You'll get crisis numbers and text lines instead, right there on the screen. That isn't us shutting you out. It's that a moment like that needs a person, and we don't have one to give you.

No one at FindOkay is watching your conversation, so nothing here reaches help on your behalf. If you're in immediate danger, call 911. In the US you can call or text 988 any hour of the day to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, free.

Common questions

What to know before you begin.

Short, honest answers about how our voices work, what stays private, and when to reach out to a person instead.

What exactly is a voice?
Each voice is an AI persona built from public writings and philosophies associated with a historical thinker or tradition. They aren't the real person, and they aren't therapists or doctors. They're a private space to reflect, reframe, and think out loud with a voice grounded in timeless wisdom.
Is this therapy or medical care?
No. FindOkay is a reflection tool, not therapy, counseling, diagnosis, or medical care. Our voices don't treat mental illness and shouldn't be used as a substitute for a licensed professional. See our wellness approach for the full framing.
How does the AI actually guide me?
You share what's on your mind. We match you with a voice whose focus fits the moment, then hold a private conversation grounded in that voice's tradition — Stoicism, mindfulness, positive psychology, cognitive reframing, and more. The goal is a small next step, not a prescription.
Is what I share confidential?
Your conversations are private to your account and are not sold. We store them so you can return to them, and we use anonymous, aggregated signals to improve the product. Don't share information you wouldn't put in an email — and never share crisis-level details here. Full details live in our privacy policy.
Can the voice be wrong or say something off?
Yes. AI can misread nuance, miss context, or generate something that doesn't fit your life. Take what's useful, leave what isn't, and always trust your own judgment — or a trusted person or professional — over any AI response.
When should I talk to a real professional instead?
If you're in crisis, having thoughts of harming yourself or someone else, in an unsafe situation, managing a diagnosed mental health condition, or if what you're carrying feels bigger than a reflection — please reach a human. A licensed therapist, physician, or crisis line is the right first call.
What if I'm in crisis right now?
Please stop and get real help. In the US and Canada, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, or call 911 if you or someone else is in immediate danger. Our crisis page lists California and international resources.

Reflection, not therapy. Wisdom, not diagnosis.

Never impersonation

Voices never say "I am Marcus Aurelius." Every conversation is framed as reflection drawing on a tradition — not roleplay.

Grounded in real practice

Each voice is built from named traditions — Stoicism, Mindfulness, Positive Psychology, and more — shown on every profile.

Care-aware

If a conversation signals crisis, FindOkay pauses and connects you to real help.
