Ceaselessly the river flows, and yet the water is never the same, while in the still pools the shifting foam gathers and is gone, never staying for a moment. Even so is man and his habitation.

The owner and his dwelling are like the dew that gathers on the morning glory. Sometimes the dew falls and the flower remains; but it will wither in the morning sun. Sometimes the flower fades while the dew is still there; but it will not last till evening.
